Loss

The ability to handle loss well should be the lead for all the columns.

Loss occurs daily. This does not imply that it dominates one's daily life, but it is present at some point in each day.

A bus may be late; a person fails to call; a tv program may be pre-empted; dinner plans change.

These are the slightest of losses. They are generally easy to shrug off - or process.

The process of managing loss both large and small, permeates each of the topics listed on this site.

It would be overwhelming to underline this fact during every conversation or session.

For the record though, loss is around and impacts us all regularly.
