Lewis Lerman, MSW, LCSW

• Masters Degree of Social Work conferred in, June 1978, by City College of New York, Hunter College, Graduate School of Social Work, and is currently a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Commonwealth of Virginia.

Karen Lerman and Lewis Lerman have been working within a mutually challenging and inspiring professional partnership that benefits all of our clients for over twenty five years.

Lewis and Karen began developing this partnership in 1982 when working as colleagues within a weekly peer supervision group, while working at our respective employment based at high schools in the suburbs of the New York City.

During the mid 1980’s we founded a successful private practice, providing individual, couples, family, and psychotherapy to children adolescents, adults.

When we married and became parents, we succeeded in preserving and expanding our experience where each of us also possesses independent therapeutic approaches.

Each of our own styles as therapists is distinct.

We share the philosophy, and possess the capacity to communicate empathic rapport to clients of all backgrounds, ages, and problem context.

Together we offer a cumulative set of perspectives, experiences, knowledge, and creativity that help us to offer the best of ourselves to our clients.

Along with hosting this website, "we pay attention.com", we have recently relocated our practice, The Group Counseling and Therapy Center, to the center of Fredericksburg VA to provide Counseling,Therapy, and Consultation services in the Fredericksburg area.
